Your years of music, on one record.
Spotify keeps every song you have ever played, from the first day of your account. Fonotech adds it all up and shows the hours, the artists and the dates.

With an account, the “Keep in the cloud” button keeps your library and your plays. They come back on any device, including your next phone. Signing in on its own uploads nothing.
3 of 6 · the past
The past comes from Spotify
Everything you have ever played, with the exact play time of each song. Spotify emails the file, and it takes a few days.
Where does your history come from?
The Spotify file fills this side: everything you have already played, up to the day you asked.
From here on it stays empty without Last.fm.
Your request, in three steps
Tick each step as you do it. The app uses those marks to know what is still missing.
- 1Step 1 of 3Sign in to Spotify
Opens your account's privacy page. If it asks for a password, sign in.
- 2Step 2 of 3Request the right history
On that page, scroll to “Download your data”. Tick only the “Extended streaming history” box and click “Request data”.
The other two boxes do not hold the history.
- 3Step 3 of 3Confirm by email
Spotify sends an email, “Confirm your request”. Open it and click “Confirm”. Without that nothing moves, and the link expires in 14 days.
Cannot find it? Look in Promotions and Spam.

4 of 6 · the future
The future stays with Last.fm
The file stops on the day you asked. Last.fm writes down every song you play from here on, every day, with no file to request.
The past is already on the shelf, from the file.
Last.fm fills this side: one record at a time, every day, with no file.
No Last.fm account yet?
It takes two minutes. Create the account, connect Spotify to it, then come back here and type the username.
Create a Last.fm accountI already have one
Last.fm hours are estimated from track lengths. The export carries the exact time.
Cutting your library
You can leave the screen on. If it drops, we pick up where it stopped.
Done.
The Spotify file takes a few days. While it does not arrive, connect Last.fm in Settings. That way the library already starts to exist.
